Custom vector products are ideal when you have your own unique transgene or transfer plasmid that you need packaged into a vector. We have standard packaging and envelope plasmids, and you can send us your own transfer vector, or we can clone one for you. Custom vector products can also be combined with our custom cell line services if you are looking to make a cell line expressing your transgene of interest.
No. We have standard packaging, envelope, and transfer plasmids. If you have a specific transfer plasmid that you want to use, sending it to us will save time on your project since we will not have to repeat cloning steps. However, if you don’t have a plasmid already made, we can modify our standard vectors to your exact specifications for packaging.
You choose the promoter, transgene, selection gene, and specify any non-coding regulatory sequences before we clone it. We can optimize vectors to incorporate large transgenes or include multiple transgenes and promoters. We can also pack existing transfer vectors if they are available. All vectors are thoroughly characterized for functional titer and transgene expression.
